Bethany is from Vancouver Island and moved to Whistler in 2001. Her love of the snow and the dirt soon led her away from the service industry and into a career of Whistler ski and bike park patrol. During the six years Bethany spent as a Whistler Patroller, she loved her job and excelled at mountain biking. Her focus shifted away from patrol and to racing DH mountain bikes. In 2010 she began coaching DH mountain biking. In the summer of 2013 Bethany became the first female head coach of Camp of Champions, one of the world’s best camps for hopeful pro-athletes. Her work with youth at The Camp of Champions in Whistler has allowed Bethany the experience of engaging a high energy group of teenagers. Bethany's love for music began to pull at her attention in 2010. She decided to take the Bachelor's of Music Therapy Degree Program at Capilano University in Vancouver....... more to come here about the move to MT after practicum
